Safety System of Cast Iron Melting Induction Furnace:
Over voltage protection: machine shuts down when input voltage is over 380V. Over voltage light will turn on and buzzer will sound continuously. Alarm and light shut off automatically when voltage goes below 380V.
Overheat protection: if sensor detects heat radiator temperature is over 55°C, machine will shut down, overheat light will turn on and buzzer will sound continuously. Increase water pressure or lower water temperature until alarm goes off itself.
Overcurrent/malfunction protections: machine will shut down, indicator light turned on and buzzer sounds continuously if one of these situations occurs:
One of the machine parts becomes overheated
Interfering signal detected
Short circuit between workpieces and induction coils
Induction coils touching each other
Input voltage is too low
Low water pressure protection: if water pressure goes below standard pressure, machine will shut down, water protection light will turn on and buzzer will sound continuously.
Installation & maintenance of cooling water:
The interior power element and high-frequency transformer of induction heating equipment will produce a lot of heat in working, and the induction coil directly is near the heat source and also suffers the high temperature, all these mentioned parts need the effective cooling of circular water, otherwise, they would be damaged, therefore, the circular cooling water is, as it were, the life of induction heating equipment. The installation and maintenance of cooling water is elaborated from following points:
I.Function of cooling water
1.To cool down the induction coil;
2.To cool down the interior power element and high-frequency transformer of induction heating equipment.
II.Requirements for cooling eater
1.Water temperature of inlet: <40℃;
3.Flow: It may be controlled based on the power of equipment, and the max water temperature of outlet shall not exceed 70℃;
4.Water quality: Clean demineralized water.
**Particular explanation: The quality of cooling water is very important, if the material like sediment, rust, fiber, etc. is in the water, they will seriously block up the cooling pipelines of equipment, reduce the water flow and impair the interior power element of equipment, burn through the pipeline, and even cause the shutdown; what’s more, the high-hardness water or limestone water includes a great deal of ions like calcium, magnesium, etc., if the equipment works long time, lots of water scales will be produced in the interior radiator and cooling pipeline of equipment, they can stop up the water circle and influence the cooling efficiency, likewise, they also can burn and damage the interior power elements of equipment.
